Abstract

THE DESCRIPTION OF TEMPORARY THE BLOOD GLUCOSE LEVELS TO PERUMDAM EMPLOYEES TIRTA DANU ARTA BANGLI REGENCY ABSTRACT Temporary blood sugar (GDS) is a parameter for checking blood sugar levels that can be measured at any time without knowing the time of the patient last ate. Age, gender, BMI, consumption patterns, family history of diabetes mellitus and irregular physical activity can be risk factors for diabetes. Diabetes is caused by a disturbance in the body, so the body is unable to use blood glucose into cells. This causes glucose to accumulate in the blood. The purpose of this study is to determine the description of blood glucose levels on employees of PERUMDAM Tirta Danu Arta Bangli Regency. Examination of blood glucose levels was carried out by the POCT method using capillary blood. This type of research is descriptive, which was conducted in April 2022 with a population of 103 employees. The sample size is 50 respondents obtained by simple random sampling technique. The results of the study that blood glucose levels were mostly found in the diabetes mellitus risk category in the range of 90 mg/dL-199 mg/dL, as many as 46 respondents with a percentage of 92,0%. Then continued with the category of non-diabetes mellitus in the range <90 mg/dL as many as 3 respondents with a percentage of 6,0%, and in the category of diabetes mellitus in the range of 200 mg/dL, 1 respondents with a percentage of 2,0%. Based on the age range of respondents who are at risk of diabetes mellitus, 92.6% are found in the 46-56 year age range and 10.0% of respondents fall into the category of diabetes mellitus in the 24-34 age range with 96.7% male. Based on BMI, most of the respondents 91.8% or 45 respondents had a normal BMI and 100.0% had a BMI obesity was included in the risk category for diabetes mellitus and 2.0% respondents with normal BMI were in the category of diabetes mellitus. Key words: Temporary Blood Glucose GAMBARAN KADAR GLUKOSA DARAH SEWAKTU PADA PEGAWAI PERUMDAM TIRTA DANU ARTA KABUPATEN BANGLI ABSTRAK Gula darah sewaktu (GDS) merupakan parameter pemeriksaan kadar gula darah yang dapat diukur setiap saat tanpa memperhatikan waktu pasien terakhir kali makan. Usia, jenis kelamin, IMT, pola konsumsi, riwayat keluarga diabetes mellitus dan aktifitas fisik yang tidak teratur dapat menjadi faktor resiko terjadinya diabetes. Diabetes disebabkan karena adanya gangguan dalam tubuh, sehingga tubuh tidak mampu menggunakan glukosa darah ke dalam sel. Maka hal tersebut menyebabkan glukosa menumpuk dalam darah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran kadar glukosa darah sewaktu pegawai PERUMDAM Tirta Danu Arta Kabupaten Bangli. Pemeriksaan kadar glukosa darah dilakukan dengan metode POCT menggunakan darah kapiler. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif, yang dilakukan pada bulan April 2022 dengan jumlah populasi 103 pegawai. Besar sampel sebanyak 50 responden yang diperoleh dengan teknik simple random sampling. Hasil penelitian kadar Glukosa Darah Sewaktu sebagian besar ditemukan dalam kategori beresiko diabetes mellitus dalam rentang 90 mg/dL-199 mg/dL, sebanyak 46 responden dengan persentase 92,0%. Kemudian dilanjutkan dengan kategori bukan diabetes mellitus dalam rentang <90 mg/dL sebanyak 3 responden dengan persentase sebesar 6,0%, dan pada kategori diabetes mellitus dalam rentang ≥200 mg/dL, 1 responden dengan persentase 2,0%. Berdasarkan rentang usia responden beresiko diabetes mellitus ditemukan pada rentang usia 46-56 tahun sebesar 92,6% dan 10,0% responden masuk dalam kategori diabetes mellitus dalam rentang usia 24-34 dengan 96,7% berjenis kelamin laki-laki. Berdasarkan IMT diperoleh sebagian besar 91,8% atau 45 responden memiliki IMT normal dan 100,0% memiliki IMT obesitas masuk dalam kategori beresiko diabetes mellitus dan 2,0% responden dengan IMT normal masuk dalam kategori diabetes mellitus.
