Abstract
Adolescence is a time of transition from childhood to adulthood. Accelerated growth and development of the adolescent body requires more energy and nutrients. Negative body image will encourage a person to restrict eating and vomiting intentionally. Good nutritional status will contribute to health, while nutritional problems can cause several negative impacts. The purpose of this study was to prove the relationship between body image and level of consumption on nutritional status of seka taruni in Banjar Bresela, Bresela Village, Payangan. This research method used a cross-sectional study. The research design used was cross-sectional, ie data collection on the independent variable and the dependent variable was carried out once at the same time. The sample inclusion criteria in this study were sekaa cadets aged 16-29 years, still registered as sekaa cadets, and willing to be samples. The results showed that an average of 27 samples (74.3%) had normal nutritional status. From a total of 36 samples of Sekaa Taruni, there are. The results showed that from a total of 36 samples of Sekaa Taruni, there were more samples that had a normal consumption level of 30 samples (83.4%), The results obtained from the frequency distribution of Sekaa Taruni that 17 samples (45.7%) had a negative body image, and 19 samples (54.3%) had a positive body image. The results of data analysis using chi square obtained significant results between body image and nutritional status (0.009) and consumption levels with nutritional status (0.000). It is hoped that further research can examine factors that can affect the nutritional status of overweight and underweight such as nutritional knowledge, pocket money, and so on Key word: citra tubuh, consumption level, adolescent nutrition static
