Abstract

LEVEL OF SATISFACTION OF INTENSIVE PATIENTS WITH FOOD SERVICE IN GOVERNMENT HOSPITAL AND PRIVATE HOSPITAL (LITERATURE REVIEW) ABSTRACT Patient satisfaction is a patient's expectation that arises from the actions of health workers as a result of the performance of health services during the process of interacting in an effort to provide services (Pohan in Sutari, 2017). One of the health services that does not go unnoticed is food service in hospitals, namely food presentation. Based on existing research data, there is still a gap between patient expectations and experience related to the implementation of food administration in government hospitals and private hospitals. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of satisfaction of inpatients based on food serving in government hospitals and private hospitals. The type of research used is a literature review by searching databases from various references, such as research journals related to the level of satisfaction of inpatients with food serving in government hospitals and private hospitals. The number of journals studied in this study amounted to eleven journals. Most of the results of patient dissatisfaction are related to food taste, food aroma, food appearance, and staff service. The level of patient satisfaction in government hospitals based on the level of satisfaction with food presentation was 107% and for private hospitals the results were 105.83%. Despite the many shortcomings, it is hoped that this research can be useful as a source of information in the development of education and science, as a reference for research with the same theme, as well as updating data.
