Abstract

Alat kontrasepsi IUD sangat efektif untuk menekan dan mengendalikan laju pertumbuhan penduduk dengan efektifitas penggunaan sampai 99,4%. Banyak factor yag menjadi alasan PUS dalam penggunaan alat kontrasepi yang tepat. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui alasan pasangan usia subur dalam penggunaan IUD di Desa Tribuana Kecamatan Abang tahun 2022. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu Deskriptif Kuantitatif dengan pendekatan Cross-sectional. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 48 responden. Hasil penelitian alasan pasangan usia subur dalam penggunaan alat kontrasepsi IUD di Desa Tribuana Kecamatan Abang Tahun 2022 ada 3 dari 7 alasan yang mendominasi alasan pasangan usia subur dalam penggunaan IUD di Desa Tribuana Kecamatan Abang Tahun 2022 yaitu penggunaan IUD karena lebih aman dan efisien yaitu sebanyak 47 orang (97,9%) dari 48 responden, penggunaan IUD karena harganya terjangkau sebanyak 40 orang (83,3%), dan penggunaan IUD karena dukungan suami sebanyak 44 orang (91,7%) dari 48 responden dan alasan terendah yaitu penggunaan IUD karena indikasi medis sebanyak 2 orang (4,2%) dari 48 responden. The IUD contraceptive is very effective in suppressing and controlling the rate of population growth with the effectiveness of using it up to 99.4%. Many factors are the reasons for EFA in the use of appropriate contraceptive devices. The purpose of this study was to determine the reasons for couples of childbearing age in using IUDs in Tribuana Village, Abang District in 2022. This type of research is quantitative descriptive with a cross-sectional approach. The number of samples is 48 respondents. The results of the research on the reasons for couples of childbearing age in using the IUD contraception in Tribuana Village, Abang Subdistrict in 2022, there are 3 of 7 reasons that dominate the reasons for couples of childbearing age in using IUDs in Tribuana Village, Abang Subdistrict in 2022, namely the use of IUDs because they are safer and more efficient, as many as 47 people (97.9%) out of 48 respondents, 40 people used an IUD because it was affordable (83.3%), and 44 people (91.7%) used an IUD because of the husband's support and the lowest reason was the use of an IUD because of medical indications as many as 2 people (4.2%) of 48 respondents.
