Abstract
RELATIONSHIP WIVES SUPPORT WITH THE ELECTION OF CONTRACEPTIVE METHODS OF MALE OPERATIONS IN ABIANSEMAL DISTRICT ABSTRACT Relationship of wives support with the electioncontraceptive methods of male operation in abiansemal district abstract method of operation is a contraceptive men very rarely used by participants in Indonesia as well as in family planning. Coverage of contraceptive users active participants contraceptive methods of male operation in Bali 0.59%. The purpose of this study was to know relationship with wife support election of the contraceptive methods of male operation in abiansemal district. The kind of analytic observational study with cross sectional study approach. Samples obtained are fertile women aged 46 participants active of family planning in abiansemal district. Testing in analyzing data using statistical test of chi square. Characteristics of respondents obtained 24 people who did not support the election of contraceptive methods of male operationand 22 people who supported the election of contraception methods of operation man, while 20 participants active contraceptive methods of operation man and 26 active family planning participants in addition to methods of male operation. Average respondent are > 35 years old and number of child ≥ 2. Wife support and selection of the contraceptive methods of male operation 63,6% are significantly realted p 0,019 < 0,05. The wife support is one of the factors that influence the husband choosing contraception methods of male operation. Keywords: Wives Support, Election Contraceptive, Method of Male Operation HUBUNGAN DUKUNGAN ISTRI DENGAN PEMILIHAN KONTRASEPSI METODE OPERASI PRIA DI KECAMATAN ABIANSEMAL ABSTRAK Metode Operasi Pria merupakan kontrasepsi yang sangat jarang digunakaan oleh peserta KB di Indonesia maupun di Bali. Cakupan peserta KB aktif pengguna kontrasepsi MOP di Bali 0,59%. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan dukungan istri dengan pemilihan kontrasepsi Metode Operasi Pria di Kecamatan Abiansemal. Jenis penelitian observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional study. Sampel yang didapat adalah 46 wanita usia subur peserta KB aktif di Kecamatan Abiansemal. Pengujian statistik dalam menganalisis data menggunakan uji Chi Square. Karakteristik responden didapatkan 24 orang yang tidak mendukung pemilihan kontrasepsi MOP dan 22 orang yang mendukung pemilihan kontrasepsi MOP, sedangkan 20 orang peserta KB aktif MOP dan 26 orang peserta KB aktif selain MOP. Rata-rata usia responden berumur > 35 tahun dan memiliki jumlah anak ≥ 2. Sikap istri yang mendukung dan memilih kontrasepsi Metode Operasi Pria 63,6%. Dukungan istri dan pemilihan kontrasepsi MOP berhubungan secara bermakna p 0,019<0,05. Dukungan istri merupakan salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi suami memilih kontrasepsi MOP.
