Abstract

Relationship Between Knowledge and Parity with Exclusive Breasfeeding on 0-6 Month Baby in Puskemas I Denpasar Barat ABSTRACT The number of malnutrition incidence in the world reached 14.9% and can be the cause of death in children. Exclusive breastfeeding is expected to reduce the incidence of malnutrition. The coverage of exclusive breastfeeding in Indonesia is still low at only 42%, while in Bali in 2016 it is 60% lower than the established program. The lowest achievement was in Denpasar City, at Puskesmas I Denpasar Barat with 33,8%. The purpose of this research is to know the relationship of mother's knowledge and parity with breastfeeding in infants 0-6 months at Puskesmas I Denpasar Barat 2018. Type of research used is observational with cross-sectional study design. The study population was all mothers with children aged 6-12 months live in the work area of Puskesmas I Denpasar Barat as much as 429 people. The sample of the research is a number of 76 people with consecutive sampling. The type of data collected in the form of primary data derived from the questionnaire filling. The result of this research is that most of the respondents have less knowledge and multiparent respondents who do not give Exclusive Breast Milk. Data analysis used is chi-square show value p= 0,565 and p= 0,709, conclution there is no relation of knowledge and parity of mother with breast feeding. We advice you to provide health education on exclusive breasfeeding, especially regarding knowledge of the benefit of excusive breasfeeding and provider at Puskesmas can built new program to increase member exclusive breastfeeding. Key words : Knowledges, Parity, Exclusive Breastfeding HUBUNGAN PENGETAHUAN DAN PARITAS IBU DENGAN PEMBERIAN ASI PADA BAYI 0-6 BULAN DI PUSKESMAS I DENPASAR BARAT TAHUN 2018 ABSTRAK Angka kejadian gizi buruk di dunia mencapai 14,9% dan dapat menjadi penyebab kematian pada anak. Pemberian ASI Eksklusif diharapkan dapat menurunkan angka kejadian gizi buruk. Cakupan pemberian ASI Eksklusif di Indonesia masih rendah hanya mencapai 42%, sementara di Bali pada Tahun 2016 sebesar 60% lebih rendah dari program yang ditetapkan. Pencapaian terendah berada di Kota Denpasar yaitu di Puskesmas I Denpasar Barat sebesar 33,8%. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan dan paritas ibu dengen pemberian ASI pada bayi 0-6 bulan di Puskesmas I Denpasar Barat Tahun 2018. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu observasional dengan desain cross-sectional study. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh ibu yang mempunyai anak umur 6-12 bulan di wilayah kerja Puskesmas I Denpasar Barat sebanyak 429 orang. Sampel dari penelitian yaitu sejumlah 76 orang dengan tehnik pengambilan consecutive samping. Jenis data yang dikumpulkan berupa data primer yang berasal dari pengisian kuesioner. Hasil penelitian diperoleh sebagian besar responden memiliki pengetahuan kurang dan responden multipara yang tidak memberikan ASI Eksklusif. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu chi-square menunjukkan nilai p=0,565 dan p¬¬=0,709, maka disimpulkan tidak ada hubungan pengetahuan dan paritas ibu dengan pemberian ASI. Tenaga kesehatan memberikan informasi tentang ASI Eksklusif terutama tentang manfaat pemberian ASI dan hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan acuan untuk meningkatkan program pemberian ASI di Puskesmas I Denpasar Barat.
