Abstract
DIET PATTERNS, PHYSICAL ACTIVITY AND NUTRITIONAL STATUS IN TOURISM ACTIVITIES ABSTRACT Nutritional status is one of the important factors in achieving optimal health status. Diet and physical activity can affect the nutritional status of tourism actors. The purpose of this study was to determine the diet, physical activity and nutritional status of tourism actors. The type of research used is a type of qualitative research using the literature study method. The subjects in this study were tourism actors such as hotel employees, tour guides, bus drivers, staff and the community in tourist areas. Based on the results of observations, it is known that the nutritional status of tourism actors is 23.5% thin nutritional status, obese ranging from 20% to 46.87% and very obese ranging from 4.5% to 21.1%. The physical activity of tourism actors is still classified as light physical activity, ranging from 29% to 58.2%. The diet of tourism actors is dominantly consuming white rice than other types of staple food with a frequency of > 3 times/week. Types of food sourced from fat such as fast food are still often consumed with a frequency of > 2 times/week, and the frequency of fruit vegetables is still rarely consumed by the sample.
