Abstract
Good nutrition knowledge is an important factor in determining a person's attitude and behavior toward food. The more you have a good knowledge of nutrition, an individual will increasingly consider the type and quality of food to be selected for consumption. The purpose of this study is to obtain a picture of the level of knowledge and attitude of the mother with the intake of fruits and vegetables in the Village Tegal Harum West Denpasar District City of Denpasar. Data collected in May 2018 included primary and secondary data with observational design and cross-sectional design by recalling 2 24-hourly samples taken non-sequentially. The population in this study was 1445 households while the sample was 89 homes. The result of this research can be concluded that the knowledge of mother with good category is sixteen sample (18,0%), mother attitude with good category four samples (4.5%), fruit intake with good category 69 samples (77,5%) and intake of vegetables with good category as many as seventeen samples (19,1%). The correlation of knowledge level with fruit intake of 69 samples of good fruit intake of 12 samples (17,4%) had good knowledge level while the correlation of knowledge level with vegetable intake from severteen good vegetable intake of three samples (17,6%) had good knowledge level . The correlation between sample attitude and fruit intake of 69 samples of good fruit intake of four samples (5.9%) had good attitude while the correlation between sample attitude and vegetable intake from seventeen samples of vegetable intake as much as one sample (5.9%) had good attitude.
