Abstract
FOOD HABIT AND NUTRITIONAL STATUS OF ELEMENTARY SCHOOL CHILDREN Abstract A balanced diet according to needs accompanied by the selection of the right food ingredients will result in a good nutritional status. This literature review aims to find an overview of the diet and nutritional status of elementary school children. From the two observations it can be concluded that the research results obtained are heterogeneous or there are significant results and some are not significant. This can be influenced by the size of the sample used in the study. Apart from the size of the sample, the research method can also influence the results obtained. using proportional random sampling technique with a sample of 131 students. And using a total sampling research method based on the chi-square test with a sample of 69 students. It is recommended to plan specific interventions, change other knowledge, change other attitudes, especially for parents to be more direct and inform children to maintain their diet so that their nutritional status is normal or good.
