Abstract
Blood pressure is a risk factor for stroke. Hypertension or hypotension can cause stroke. Stroke patients often experience high blood pressure on admission to the hospital. This is the background for the author to examine the image of blood pressure in stroke patients at Sanjiwani Gianyar Hospital in 2021. This study aims to determine how the image of blood pressure in stroke patients at Sanjiwani Gianyar Hospital in 2021. The research method used is descriptive documentation. This research was conducted on March 26 - April 26, 2021 in the Medical Record Room of RSUD Sanjiwani Gianyar with a sample of 36 people. Based on the characteristics of the respondents, it was found that there were more stroke patients aged 65-74 years as many as 13 people (36.1%), with the majority of respondents being male as many as 27 people (75.0%). Most of the SH patients had stage 2 hypertension as many as 11 people (30.6%), while on SNH as many as 9 people (25.0%). More stroke patients aged 65-74 years suffering from stage 2 hypertension, as many as 9 people (25.0%), most of the male stroke patients experienced stage 2 hypertension as many as 15 people (41.7%). Based on the research results, it is hoped that efforts will be made to fix hypertension complaints in patients so that they can reduce complications due to high blood pressure in stroke patients.
