Abstract
Anxiety Nursing Care In Patients With Pre Operative Appendectomy In Sanjiwani Hospital Surgical Room ABSTRACT Appendicitis is a concern because the incidence of appendicitis is high in every country. Appendectomy is a surgical procedure performed to reduce the risk of perforation. Appendectomy is surgery to remove the appendix to reduce the risk of perforation. Nursing problems that can occur are preoperative anxiety. The purpose of writing this final scientific paper for nurses is to apply anxiety nursing care to patients with preoperative appendicitis in the operating room of the RSUD Sanjiwani. The method that use in this study is a case study. Nursing care was given to two clients diagnosed with appendicitis with preoperative anxiety nursing problems in the operating room of the RSUD Sanjiwani. The assessment carried out includes identity and complaints and nursing diagnoses are appointed according to the signs and symptoms shown by the patient, namely anxiety. The intervention given is based on the Indonesian Nursing Intervention Standard (SIKI), namely anxiety reduction with a focus on intervention, namely psychoreligious therapy. The expected outcome and outcome criteria based on the Indonesian Nursing Outcome Standard (SLKI) is the level of anxiety. The results obtained from both patients are the goal is achieved, the anxiety problem is resolved. The conclusion that can be drawn is that psychoreligious therapy is effective in reducing anxiety in preoperative patients. Keywords: appendicitis, preoperative anxiety, psychoreligious therapy
