Abstract
DIFFERENCES ENERGY , PROTEIN INTAKE AND NUTRITIONAL STATUS TODDLERS IN DAYCARE AND WITHOUT DAYCARE ABSTRACT Toddler period is important period of life and needs serious attention. At this time toddlers need nutrients from daily food in the right amount and good quality. There must be balance between nutrient intake and expenditure in order to obtain a good nutritional status. Nutritional status is a measure of success in fulfilling nutrition for children as indicated by the child's weight and height. In addition, nutritional status intake is influenced by the pattern of child care. This research method is a literature review of various references, namely research articles or journals, journal reviews, annual reports, and data that support the intake and nutritional status of toddlers published from 2012-2020. The search was carried out using the google search engine on the internet with related keywords, such as the energy and protein intake of toddlers in daycare and without daycare, nutritional status of toddlers in daycare and without daycare. Based on the results of the literature review, it can be seen that there is a difference in the percentage of energy and protein intake for toddlers who are cared for at home and under five who are entrusted to the daycare, and there is a difference in the average percentage of nutritional status of children who are cared for at home and those who are deposited in the daycare.
