Abstract
THE RELATIONSHIP OF NUTRITIONAL KNOWLEDGE AND IMPLEMENTATION OF BALANCED NUTRITION GUIDELINES WITH NUTRITIONAL STATUS IN ADOLESCENTS (LITERATURE REVIEW) ABSTRACT The imbalance between food consumption and adolescent needs will cause nutritional problems. Low nutrition knowledge is one of the causes of nutritional problems. To prevent nutritional problems, it is necessary to have knowledge about balanced nutrition guidelines. The purpose of writing this thesis is to find out the results of a literature review on the relationship between nutritional knowledge and the application of balanced nutrition guidelines with nutritional status. This research is a literature review with a qualitative method which was carried out in February - March 2021. The number of literature reviewed was 11 scientific articles. The library search was carried out through the Google Scholar database. The results of the literature search show that the range of adolescent nutrition knowledge is quite good as much as 38.5% - 61.4%, good nutrition knowledge as much as 24.0% - 55%, knowledge of less nutrition as much as 5% - 26.7%. In the application of balanced nutrition guidelines, the range is quite good as much as 29.7% - 84.7%, good as much as 9.3% - 22.9%, and less as much as 6.0% - 52.0%. The nutritional status has a range of normal as much as 50.0% - 70.0%, over nutrition as much as 28.3% - 36.1%, and undernutrition as much as 1.7% - 14.71%. There is a relationship between nutritional knowledge and the application of balanced nutrition guidelines.
