Abstract
Schizophrenia is a disease that affects the brain and causes strange and disturbed thoughts, perceptions, emotions, movements, behaviors. The risk of violence is being vulnerable to behavior that harms others physically and emotionally. One therapy that is useful and easy to do is music therapy. Instrumental music can also be an alternative way of healing mental disorders, especially with violence or aggression. This scientific work was carried out to determine nursing care for schizophrenic patients at risk of violence in the ER of the Bali Provincial Mental Hospital in 2021. The study was conducted on two clients with complaints of history of violence at home and formulate a diagnosis, namely acts of violent behavior. The implementation given to the patient is in accordance with the intervention that has been prepared, namely the provision of instrumental music therapy which is given for 1x15 minutes. The evaluation results obtained by the client become relaxed and appear calm.It is recommended for nurses to intervene by offering instrumental music therapy to schizophrenic patients with the risk of violent behavior.
