Abstract
Adolescents are a population group aged 10-19 years (WHO, 2012). Health problems experienced by adolescents include adolescents who are pregnant under the age of 20, adolescents with STIs, adolescents with HIV, adolescents who smoke, and adolescents who use alcohol. One of the highest cases of adolescents who get pregnant under the age of 20 of teenage pregnancy is pregnancy that occurs in women aged 14-20 years. Teenage pregnancy has a higher medical risk due to immaturity of the reproductive organs for pregnancy, thus harming the health of the mother and fetus. The increase in the percentage of pregnancy in adolescents is due to the lack of knowledge of adolescents about the risks of adolescent pregnancy. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of the level of knowledge of adolescents about the risk of pregnancy at adolescents in Datah Village, Abang District, Karangasem Regency in 2021. The type of research used was descriptive design. Sampling technique Non-probability sampling, namely purposive sampling with a sample size of 36 respondents and data collection using a questionnaire. The results of this study showed that out of 36 respondents, the majority were 17-19 years old as many as 29 people (80.5%). The majority of respondents with a high school education as many as 16 people (44.5%). The majority of respondents had less knowledge as many as 17 people (47.2%). Respondents with sufficient knowledge were 12 people (33.4%). Respondents with good knowledge were 7 people (19.4%) Keywords: Knowledge, Teenage pregnancy
