Abstract
Schizophrenia is a disease that affects the brain and causes thoughts, perceptions,emotions, movements, strange and disturbed behavior. Violent behavior is the beginning of a psychiatric emergency, preceded by a stressor that comes from internal or external. Deep breathing relaxation techniques can be done by the patient independently anywhere and anytime, because it only requires a comfortable sitting position and regulates the patient's breathing patterns. The purpose of this scientific work is to analyze nursing care in patients with risk of violent behavior through the intervention of deep breathing relaxation techniques in the IPCURoom ofBali Provincial Mental Hospital. Howto overcome the risk of violent behavior by providing deep breathing relaxation techniques for three days with a duration of 45 minutes. Evaluation of the action shows the patient is able to control his violent behavior.
