Abstract

DESCRIPTION OF DRINKING ARAK BEHAVIOR FOR PATIENTS WITH HYPERTENSION IN TRIBUANA VILLAGE, ABANG DISTRICT, KARANGASEM REGENCY IN 2021 ABSTRACK Hypertension is a condition of an increase in systolic blood pressure of ≥140 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure of ≥90 mmHg. This study aims to determine the picture of the drinking behavior of hypertension sufferers in Tribuana Village, Abang District, Karangasem Regency in 2021. This research was conducted in Banjar Basangalas. The research used was descriptive research with purposive sampling technique. The population of this study was 84 with a total sample size of 69 people. The sampling technique used in this study is non-probability sampling. The results of research that has been carried out from 69 respondents regarding the drinking behavior of hypertension sufferers obtained the results of the characteristics of the majority of respondents aged 21-30 years as many as 40 people (58.0%), male gender as many as 60 people (87%), high school education as much as 33 people (47.8%), worked as farmers / laborers as many as 30 people (43.5%) The majority with a good level of knowledge were 39 people (56.5%),%) and 12 people lacked knowledge (17.4%) ), with good attitudes as many as 13 people (18.8%), less attitudes 31 people (44.9%), with good actions as many as 27 people (39.1%), and less actions 12 people (17.4%) . The community is expected to maintain and reduce the behavior of drinking wine so that blood pressure does not increase. Keywords : hypertension, wine, behavior
