Abstract
Human Immunodeficiency Virus, Syphilis, and Hepatitis B are sexually transmitted infections that can be transmitted by pregnant women to their babies. Countermeasures have been carried out by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia through the Triple Elimination program which refers to WHO recommendations. The purpose of this study was to determine the knowledge of pregnant women about triple elimination at Puskesmas Gerokgak I, Buleleng Regency. The method used in this research is descriptive (Descriptive reseach method was used in this study). The sample in this study were 58 pregnant women TM II and III at Gerokgak I Public Health Center, Buleleng Regency, and met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The sampling technique used was non-probability sampling with a purposive sampling method (This study used non-probability sampling with a purposive sampling method as a sampling technique). The instrument used was a questionnaire that consisted of 30 items. The results of this study indicated that most of the respondents with knowledge of Triple Elimination in the good category were 65.5%. Characteristics based on age 20-35 years (53.4%), gestational age in TW II (67%), secondary educated (71%), and working as a housewife (IRT) (39.7%). The level of knowledge of pregnant women about Triple Elimination at Puskesmas Gerokgak I, Buleleng Regency was the most in good category. It is hoped that health workers will provide increased counseling about Hepatitis B in pregnancy, especially regarding early detection of Hepatitis B in pregnancy.
