Abstract
Gingivitis is a gum disorder or inflammation of the gums. The purpose of this study was to determine knowledge about gingivitis in pregnant women in Gianyar Regency in 2021. This type of research is a descriptive study. The results showed that the frequency of pregnant women was in very good category amounted to 34 people (70.8%), good category amounted to six people (12.5%), enough category amounted to one person (2.1%), less category amounted to five people ( 10.4%), the failing category amounted to two people (4.2%). The mode of knowledge about gingivitis in pregnant women is with a score of 90 as many as 17 people (good category). The average knowledge about gingivitis in pregnant women in Gianyar Regency in 2021 is 79.6 (good), so the conclusion of the knowledge of pregnant women about gingivitis in Gianyar Regency in 2021 is the most in the very good category, the mode of knowledge about gingivitis in pregnant women is score 90 (very good), the average knowledge about gingivitis in pregnant women is 79.6 (good), the average is based on the highest education level is S2, while the lowest is SD education level and based on the highest age is 36- 45 years.
