Abstract
Knowledge is the result of "knowing", and this happens when someone has sensed a certain object. Action is the level of knowledge that is mingled with attitude and is owned by one's personal control. Pregnant women are a group that is susceptible to oral and dental diseases. Early in pregnancy, pregnant women usually experience lethargy, nausea and vomiting. The purpose of this study was to describe the level of knowledge and action regarding oral health in pregnant women in Karangasem Regency in 2021. This type of research is a descriptive study using a survey design. The results of the study, which amounted to 40 pregnant women, obtained the percentage level of knowledge about oral health in pregnant women in Karangasem Regency with the very good category 37.5%, good 35%, enough 15%, less 5%, and 7.5% failure . Percentage of actions regarding oral health in pregnant women with a good category of 45%, and 55% in the moderate category. The average level of knowledge in the good category was 70.75. The average action in the good category is 28.15. The conclusion is drawn that the knowledge and actions of pregnant women about oral health in Karangasem Regency in 2021 are in a good category.
