Abstract
DESCRIPTION OF COPING STRATEGY ON PATIENT TYPE II DIABETES MELLITUS AT BANGLI HOSPITAL IN 2021 ABSTRACT Diabetes mellitus would have an impact on physical and psychological, the impact of psychological is stress.The level of stress can affect the level of compliance , on the treatment, uncontrolled blood sugar , also needed a good coping for stress. The aims research to understand coping strategy on a patient type II diabetes mellitus at Bangli Hospital. The methode is descriptive research with the design of the questionnaire was with the approach in the form of survey cross-sectional.The population is 65 patients with research a total of 43 the samplimg technique used was consecutive sampling.An instrument cope inventory that have been tested the validity and reability as much as 0,791 from Rahmaturrizqi 2012.This study was conducted on the april 1–12 2021. This research result indicates that the subject of study with as many as adaptive coping 58,1%,maladaptive coping 41,9%. Characteristic of the subject research in conducting the adaptive coping with the most frequency 16.3 % in ≥ 65 years of age,men 46,5%, higher education 39,5 %, marriage 51,8%, long illness > 6 months 37,2 %.
