Abstract
Pregnant women are a group that is susceptible to oral and dental diseases. Hormonal changes in pregnant women cause various complaints such as nausea, vomiting and complaints of tooth and mouth pain. The purpose of this study was to describe the level of knowledge and action regarding oral health in pregnant women in Sukawati District, Gianyar Regency in 2021. This type of research is a descriptive study using a survey design. Respondents of this study were 45 pregnant women. The results of the study showed that the percentage of the knowledge level with the very good category was 46.67%, the good category was 33.33%, the moderate category was 13.33%, the poor category was 2.22%, and the failed category was 4.44%. The percentage of actions in good category was 40%, and moderate as much as 40%. The average level of dental health knowledge among pregnant women in Sukawati District, Ginyar Regency with a good category was 76. The average dental health action for pregnant women in Sukawati District, Gianyar Regency with a good category was 30.04. The conclusion from this research is that the knowledge and actions of pregnant women on oral health in Sukawati District, Gianyar Regency in 2021 are in a good category.
