Abstract
DESCRIPTION RISK OF SUICIDE IN PATIENTS WITH CHRONIC KIDNEY DISEASE IN RSUD SANJIWANI GIANYAR IN 2021 ABSTRACT Chronic kidney disease is a clinical syndrome caused by a chronic, progressive and quite advanced decline in kidney function. The condition causes the loss of something that previously existed such as freedom and independence, so that this can cause real depressive symptoms in patients with chronic kidney disease to commit suicide. This study aims to describe the risk of suicide in patients with chronic kidney disease at RSUD Sanjiwani Gianyar in 2021. This type of research with a quantitative design. The number of samples in this study were 39 patients diagnosed with chronic kidney disease at RSUD Sanjiwani Gianyar. This Instrument in this study was a suicide risk questionnaire (SBQ-R). The results showed that of the 39 research subject, 23 people (59,0%) were in the low risk category for suicide while 16 people (41,0%) were in the medium risk category. From these results it can be concluded that most of the research subjects were in the low risk category namely 23 people (59,0%). Keywords : chronic kidney disease, risk of suicide
