Abstract

DESCRIPTION OF THE MANAGEMENT OF EARLY MOBILIZATION IN POST APPENDECTOMY PATIENTS IN THE RSUD KLUNGKUNG IN 2021 ABSTRACT Appendectomy surgery causes tissue damage and causes pain. Late mobilization has many disadvantages for the patient. This study aims to determine the description of early mobilization management in post appendectomy patients at Klungkung Regional Hospital in 2021. The type of research used is descriptive research, and uses secondary data documentation study data collection techniques. The sample in this study were 54 people from 63 populations. The results showed that most of the post appendectomy patients were male (70.4%). Based on the age of post appendectomy patients, it was more common in adolescents (15–24 years) as much as 33.3%. The observation component of early mobilization nursing action which consists of four actions has been implemented reaching 100%. The therapeutic component consisting of the act of facilitating mobilization activities with assistive devices such as a bed fence, and nursing actions involving the family to assist patients in increasing movement have been carried out 100%, while the act of facilitating movement is carried out by 70.4%. The educational component which consists of action nursing actions recommends early mobilization, acts of explaining the objectives and mobilization procedures, and acts of teaching simple mobilization have been carried out 100%. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the management of early mobilization in post appendectomy patients at Klungkung Hospital in 2021 has largely been carried out optimally.
