Abstract
Knowledge is the result of "knowing" and this occurs after someone has held sensing of a particular object. Sensing occurs through the five human senses. Knowledge is also obtained from education, personal and other people's experiences, the mass media and the environment. Knowledge or the cognitive realm is a very important domain in shaping one's actions. The purpose of this research is to find out the knowledge of pregnant women about the maintenance of dental and oral health before and after being given counseling in North Denpasar District in 2021. This type of research is descriptive research with the number of respondents as many as 39 pregnant women. The types of data used in this study are primary and secondary data. The data collection method is through google form (pre-test) before being given counseling, then given counseling through zoom and ended by giving post-test through google form as evaluation. The results showed that the knowledge before being given counseling with a category of sufficient as many as 11 people (28.2%), while knowledge after being given counseling with a very good category as many as 33 people (86.8%). The average knowledge before being given counseling 55.12% categories less while the average knowledge after being given counseling 86.41% with a very good category. This study concludes that the percentage and average knowledge of pregnant women before and after being given counseling has increased.
