Abstract

DESCRIPTION OF NURSING IN ELDERLY WITH HYPERTENSION IN ACUTE PAIN UPT KESMAS SUKAWATI 1 GIANYAR YEAR 2018 The problems experienced by the elderly today are hypertension 54.6%. Hypertension is one in which the systolic and diastolic pressure increased beyond normal limits. This study aims to describe nursing care in elderly hypertensive acute pain. The method used in the preparation of this paper is descriptive method with case study pendekatkan with two subjects in the Work Area Sukawati Public Health Unit I. Assessment on Ny.S Ny.R and there is a gap between theory pengakijian is not found major and minor symptoms such as being protective, seemed agitated, increasing client pulse frequency, difficulty sleeping, appetite changes, impaired thought processes and nursing problems that are enforced is acute pain. Action taken on Ny.R and Ny.S, monitor vital signs and general condition, assess the level of pain, do akupresure at one point until eleven twice a day, and watered the leaves boiled water in the morning and afternoon, educate and evaluate pain reduction. After three days of nursing actions occur given an improvement in conditions. The result is pain and Ny.S Ny.R clients with a pain scale Ny.R reduced from 5 to 2 and client Ny.S of 4 to 1. Suggestions are expected clients maintain the health and diligent control to health care facilities. Keywords: Nursing care, elderly, hypertensive acute pain.
