Abstract

THE EFFECT OF PROVIDING EDUCATION THROUGH MONOPOLY GAME MEDIA ON STUDENT PREPAREDNESS IN THE FACE OF EARTHQUAKE DISASTERS ABSTRACT Indonesia is an earthquake prone area and the province of Bali is one of the regions that has succeeded in dealing with earthquakes. The earthquake that caused many victims. Disaster management education and its challenges are urgently needed for children who are most vulnerable if such events occur. With this research using board game media will become an educational medium about learning mitigation for children, it can also be a means and training for children to be able to connect and improve finances in their environment. This study discusses educational education through monopoly game media on student preparedness in the face of earthquake disasters. Using three databases (Pubed, Google Scholar, and Garuda Portal) that were searched in 2011 to 2019 which contained reports and reviews that discussed the provision of education through media monopoly games on student preparedness in the face of earthquake disasters. Key education, monopolistic media, preparedness and earthquake disasters are used to search electronic databases. When the information in the title and abstract is unclear, use the complete text for review. Then after selecting the contents of the journal, obtained 11 journals in accordance with the discussion about providing education through monopoly game media to each student in the course of the earthquake disaster. The results of the analysis of this study discuss with a review of the literature obtained by 11 journals in which 6 journals were circulated which discussed the provision of education through media monopoly games towards student interest in learning through 5 journals that discussed each student in dealing with earthquake disasters. Thus it can be concluded that the monopolistic media-assisted game method can increase student preparedness in increasing earthquake disasters. This literature review shows that there is a connection with educational education through monopoly game media towards students' preparedness in facing earthquakes. Keywords: education provision, monopoly media, preparedness, and earthquake disaster PENGARUH PEMBERIAN EDUKASI MELALUI MEDIA PERMAINAN MONOPOLI TERHADAP KESIAPSIAGAAN SISWA DALAM MENGHADAPI BENCANA GEMPA BUMI ABSTRAK Indonesia merupakan daerah rawan bencana gempa bumi dan provinsi Bali adalah salah satu daerah yang mengalami gempa bumi. Gempa Bumi yang terjadi menyebabkan banyak korban. Pendidikan penanggulangan bencana dan pencegahannya sangat diperlukan khususnya anak-anak yang menjadi sosok paling rentan jika bencana tersebut terjadi. Dengan adanya penelitian menggunakan media board game ini akan menjadi media edukasi tentang pembelajaran mitigasi bagi anak-anak, juga dapat menjadi sarana dan pelatihan kepada anak-anak untuk dapat mengenal dan mengurangi dampak risiko bencana di lingkungannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian edukasi melalui media permainan monopoli terhadap kesiapsiagaan siswa dalam menghadapi bencana gempa bumi. Menggunakan tiga database (Pubmed, Google Scholar, dan Portal Garuda) yang dicari pada mulai tahun 2011 sampai 2019 berupa laporan dan review yang membahas pengaruh pemberian edukasi melalui media permainan monopoli terhadap kesiapsiagaan siswa dalam menghadapi bencana gempa bumi. Kata kunci pemberian edukasi, media monopoli, kesiapsiagaan, dan bencana gempa bumi digunakan untuk mencari pada database elektronik. Apabila informasi pada judul dan abstrak tidak jelas, mempergunakan naskah lengkap untuk dilakukan review. Kemudian setelah dilakukan seleksi isi jurnal, diperoleh 11 jurnal yang sesuai dengan pembahasan pengaruh pemberian edukasi melalui media permainan monopoli terhadap kesiapsiagaan siswa dalam menghadapi bencana gempa bumi. Hasil analisis penelitian ini ditunjukkan dengan telaah review literature didapatkan 11 jurnal dimana diantaranya 6 jurnal yang membahas mengenai pemberian eukasi melalui media permainan monopoli terhadap minat belajar siswa sedangkan 5 jurnal yang membahas mengenai kesiapsiagaan siswa dalam menghadapi bencana gempa bumi. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode permainan berbantuan media monopoli dapat meningkatkan kesiapsiagaan siswa dalam menghadapi bencana gempa bumi. Telaah literature review ini menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh pemberian edukasi melalui media permainan monopoli terhadap kesiapsiagaan siswa dalam menghadapi bencana gempa bumi. Kata kunci: pemberian edukasi, media monopoli, kesiapsiagaan, dan bencana gempa bumi
