Abstract

THE RELATIONSHIP OF PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES WITH BLOOD PRESSURE IN HYPERTENSION PATIENTS ABSTRACT High blood pressure (hypertension) can increase the risk of complications such as stroke, coronary heart disease and kidney failure, where ischemic heart disease and stroke are the biggest causes of death in the world. Using 4 databases (Pubmed, E-Resource, Garuda portal, and Google scholar) that were searched between 2013 and 2019, they were research reports and reviews that discussed the relationship of physical activity with blood pressure in hypertensive patients. Keywords physical activity, blood pressure and hypertension patients are used to search the electronic database. Found 13 journals of search results using these keywords. Then after selecting the contents of the journal obtained 12 journals in accordance with the discussion of physical activity with blood pressure in hypertensive patients. Then after selecting the contents of the journal obtained 6 journals in accordance with the discussion of physical activity with blood pressure in hypertensive patients. From 6 journals that are used states that physical activity can reduce blood pressure to normal. The results of the study of the relationship of physical activity with blood pressure found an average of mild respondents that is 40.2 (83.1%), moderate is 34.2 (62.4%) and severe is 24.4 (32.6%), mild namely 36.5 (56.2%), moderate is 32.6 (54.3%) and heavy is 34.8 (44.2%). There is a relationship between physical activity and blood pressure in hypertensive patients with an average ρ value = 0.00 (ρ <0.05) and r value = 0.339 Keywords: physical activity, blood pressure, hypertension patients
