Abstract
ABSTRACT Lack of active involvement of adolescents in adolescent reproductive health programs results in a lack of knowledge and understanding of adolescents related to reproductive health. One method that can be used to improve adolescent knowledge and understanding related to reproductive health is by peer education and flashcard media. The purpose of this literature review is to review the literature review and the results of existing research related to the influence of peer education methods on adolescent knowledge related to reproductive health and the use of flashcard media. The data in this literature review uses five databases (Pubmed, ResearchGate, E-Resource, Google Schoolar, DOAJ) which are sought from 2015 to 2020 in the form of research reports / scientific journals, reviews and books that discuss peer education methods, flashcard media discuss knowledge of reproductive health in adolescents. Keywords peer education, flashcard media, and reproductive health knowledge are used to search electronic databases. Peer education is one of the new innovations that actively involves adolescents and makes teenagers an information channel related to reproductive health for their peers. The use of flashcard media in the peer education method can be used as a complementary media to maximize the peer education learning method in providing reproductive health information. The provision of peer education methods has a significant effect with a result of 0.000 on increasing adolescent knowledge and understanding related to reproduction health in adolescents (Runiari et al., 2018).
