Abstract
RELATIONSHIP OF CLEAN AND HEALTH LIVING BEHAVIOR IN INCIDENCE DIARRHEA OF TODDLER IN THE TAMANBALI VILLAGE BANGLI REGENCY YEAR 2020 Abstract Diarrhea is a health problem in the world, including of in Indonesia. The application of clean and healthy living behavior that is not good is one of the risk factors for diarrhea. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of clean and healthy life behavior in the household setting with the incidence of diarrhea for toddler. This research method is observasional with cross-sectional design. The subjects of this study are housewives who have toddlers with a total sample of 45 people and analyzed using Chi-Square. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between indicators using clean water with the incidence of diarrhea for children under five (p = 0,001 <0.05), there was a significant relationship between indicators washing hands with clean water and soap with the incidence of diarrhea for toddler (p = 0.027 <0.05), there is a significant relationship between indicators using healthy latrines with the incidence of diarrhea in toddler (p = 0.011 <0.05). It is recommended to households that have toddlers to adopt clean and healthy living behaviors and always use clean water, wash their hands with soap and use healthy toilets to avoid diarrhea.
