Abstract
THE IMPACT OF ASSERTIVE BEHAVIOUR TO DEPRESSION ON DIABETES MELLITUS PATIENTS AT GIANYAR I PRIMARY HEALTH CENTER ON 2018 ABSTRACT Diabetes mellitus is a chronic disease that can cause anxiety symptoms in patients because of poorer self-care path, one way to overcome the symptoms of anxiety is to do a green color therapy. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of green color therapy on anxiety in patients with diabetes mellitus in UPT. Puskesmas Abiansemal I Year 2018. The design of this study used a pre-experimental design with a one-group pre-post test design approach. Sampling method is non probability sampling using purposive sampling method. The sample size is 12 people. Hypothesis test using paired t-test statistic with p value 0,001 (α = 0,05). The study instrument used the Hamilton Rating Scale for anxiety (HRS-A). The results showed that there was a significant effect (p = 0,013) Green Color Therapy on the anxiety of diabetes mellitus patients at Abiansemal I Public Health Center 2018 that Green Color Therapy decreased the anxiety level of patients with diabetes mellitus. Recommendations for future researchers are expected to develop a sample and research design on Green Color Therapy on anxiety in patients with diabetes mellitus.
