Abstract
Subjective Lamentations of Balinese “Gamelan” Industry Workers in Tihingan Village, Banjarangkan District, Klungkung Regency in 2018 ABSTRACT Balinese “Gamelan” industry’s process produces dust and noise to its workers. This research is aimed at detecting subjective lamentations of Balinese “gamelan” workers in Tihingan Village, Banjarangkan District, Klungkung Regency in 2018. It is a descriptive research conducted using survey and interview research techniques to collect data. The subject of the research were 92 workers. The object of the research were the Balinese “Gamelan” workers subject lamentations such as respiratory and hearing problem. As the result, there were 15 workers (16,30%) experienced few respiratory problem, 73 workers (79,35%) face sufficient respiratory problem and 4 workers (4,35%) experienced excessively respiratory problem. Moreover, there were 10 workers (10,87%) experienced few hearing problem, 70 workers (76,09%) experienced sufficient hearing problem ang 12 workers (13,04%) experienced excessively hearing problem. In conclusion, only 10 workers experienced few respiratory problem and 15 workers experienced few hearing problem, out of those who experienced sufficient and excessively respiratory and hearing problem. Therefore, the workers need to reduce the smoking habit, using earplug or earmuff and using respiratory protection mask when working.
