Abstract

ABSTRAK Diabetes Melitus merupakan akibat gangguan dari pankreas yang tidak memproduksi cukup insulin. Upaya penanggulangan DM Tipe 2 adalah dengan edukasi promosi hidup sehat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan lama menderita DM dengan kejadian hipertensi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah analitik korelasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Jumlah sampel pada penelitian ini sebanyak 66 orang dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menemukan ada hubungan antara lama menderita DM dengan kejadian hipertensi (p=0,001) dan nilai OR pola asuh otoriter yaitu 10,417 (95% CI : 2,073-52,334).. Perawat perlu melakukan pengukuran lama menderita DM dengan kejadian hipertensi kepada pasien DM tipe 2 untuk mencegah komplikasi DM yang lebih berat. Kata kunci : Lama menderita DM, Hipertensi, DM Tipe 2 ABSTRCT Diabetes Mellitus is a result of a disorder of the pancreas that does not produce enough insulin. Efforts to overcome Type 2 DM are to educate health promotion. The purpose of this study was to determine the long association of DM with the incidence of hypertension. The type of research used is correlational analytic withapproach cross sectional. The number of samples in this study were 66 people using purposive sampling technique. The results of the study found that there was a relationship between the duration of diabetes mellitus and the incidence of hypertension (p = 0.001) and authoritarian parenting OR values of 10.417 (95% CI: 2.073-52,334). 2 to prevent more severe complications of DM.
