Abstract

Infertilitas adalah ketidakmampuan pasangan usia subur untuk memperoleh keturunan setelah satu tahun berhubungan seksual teratur tanpa kontrasepsi. Analisa sperma bertujuan untuk menilai adanya gangguan pada fungsi reproduksi pria, dengan motilitas sebagai indikator utama karena menentukan kemampuan sperma bergerak menuju sel telur. Faktor teknis seperti keterlambatan pemeriksaan dapat memengaruhi hasil, di mana WHO menganjurkan analisis dilakukan dalam 30–60 menit setelah ejakulasi, karena pemeriksaan yang melewati waktu tersebut dapat menurunkan motilitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan menilai perbedaan motilitas sperma berdasarkan variasi waktu penundaan pemeriksaan. Desain yang digunakan adalah true experimental dengan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) pada 43 sampel yang diperoleh melalui teknik sampling insidental. Hasil menunjukkan motilitas progresif sperma menurun seiring waktu penundaan pemeriksaan. Adapun rata-rata motilitas progresif sperma pada waktu segera setelah likuifaksi, 1 jam, 2 jam, dan 3 jam yaitu 45,2% ± 4,5; 45,0% ± 4,3; 34,8% ± 6,2; dan 28,6% ± 7,0. Hasil analisis statistik dengan uji Friedman dan Wilcoxon menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara waktu segera setelah likuifaksi dan 1 jam, namun terdapat perbedaan signifikan pada perbandingan 1 jam dengan 2 jam serta 2 jam dengan 3 jam. Infertility is defined as the inability of a couple of reproductive age to conceive after one year of regular sexual intercourse without contraception. Semen analysis is performed to assess male reproductive function, with sperm motility as a key indicator because it determines the ability of sperm to reach the ovum. Technical factors, such as delayed examination, may affect the results; the World Health Organization recommends that semen analysis be conducted within 30–60 minutes after ejaculation, as examinations beyond this period may reduce motility. This study aimed to evaluate differences in sperm motility based on variations in examination delay time. A true experimental design with a Randomized Block Design was applied to 43 samples obtained using incidental sampling. The results showed that progressive sperm motility decreased with increasing examination delay. The mean progressive motility immediately after liquefaction, at 1 hour, 2 hours, and 3 hours was 45,2% ± 4,5; 45,0% ± 4,3; 34,8% ± 6.2; and 28,6% ± 7.0, respectively. Statistical analysis using the Friedman and Wilcoxon tests indicated no significant difference between immediate examination after liquefaction and 1 hour; however, significant differences were observed between 1 hour and 2 hours, as well as between 2 hours and 3 hours.
