Abstract
During pregnancy often prospective mothers experience complaints of teeth and mouth. The purpose of this study was to find out the description of the level of dental and oral hygiene visiting the South Denpasar Health Center III in 2019. Calculate the percentage of dental and oral health in pregnant women who visited Puskesmas III Denpasar Selatan in 2019 with good criteria, medium criteria and poor criteria, calculate the average level of dental and oral health of pregnant women visiting the South Denpasar Health Center III in 2019. Calculating the average level of dental and oral health of pregnant women based on the pregnancy trimester visits III Health Center Denpasar in 2019. This type of research is descriptive with design survey through direct examination of pregnant women. The results of the study were 30 respondents. Based on the most gestational age in the third trimester with 11 people (1.76). The percentage of dental and oral health levels of pregnant women who visited the South Denpasar Health Center III in 2019 were criteria of 20.00%, medium criteria were 66.67%, and poor criteria were 13.33%. The average dental and oral hygiene of pregnant women based on the trimester of pregnancy was in the first trimester 2.01 with criteria for the second trimester 1.56 with moderate criteria and II trimester 1.76 with moderate criteria. The average level of dental and oral hygiene in pregnant women who visit the South Denpasar Health Center III in 2019 is 1.73 with moderate criteria.
