Abstract

School age grub are prone to get oral health disorders. dental health counseling of students in elementary school aged 6-12 years in very assential because that age is critical time, both for the growth of teeth as well as for the development of knowledge, attitudes and behaviours. This study is to know the level of knowledge of brusing teeth and oral hygiene of students at grade 5 in SDN 12 Jimbaran years 2019. This research use the total population of 5 sdn 12 Jimbaran which is 63 people. The results of the research on the level of knowledge are in the less and sufficient category (36.50%). While the average level of knowledge is 58.65 (less category). The percentage of OHI-S criteria is moderate (55.56%), while the average OHI-S is 1.52 (medium criteria). In conclusion, the highest percentage of knowledge about tooth brushing and OHI-S is in the sufficient and lacking knowledge category, while OHI-S has moderate criteria.
