Abstract
Improving oral and dental health is one of the efforts undertaken in the maintenance of dental and oral health from an early age. Good and correct tooth brushing behavior is done diligently, thoroughly, and regularly, The level of oral hygiene can be measured with an index of oral hygiene index simflified (OHI-S). The easiest way to maintain cleanliness and dental and oral healt with teeth brushing. This study aims to find out how the behavior brushing teeth and Dental Hygiene and Mouth School Student of Grade V SDN 14 Pedungan Denpasar Selatan Kota Denpasar Year 2019. This research is a descriptive research. The number of student of grade V SDN 14 Pedungan Denpasar Selatan Kota Denpasar is 35 students. There are not students whe has the criteria very good and good behaviour, 2 student (5,8%) had tooth brushing behavior enough criteria, 33 student (94,2%) had tooth brusing behavior criteria need guidance, and good oral hygiene criteria as many as six student (17,1%), cleanliness teeth and mouth with moderate criteria as many as 25 students (77,1%), and dental and oral hygiene with poor criteria of two students (5,8%). And average cleanliness oral and dental hygiene of grade V students of SDN 14 Pedungan Denpasar Selatan Kota Denpasar is 1,64 mostly with moderate criteria.
