Abstract

IMPLEMENTATION OF BENSON RELAXATION THERAPY IN THIRD TRIMESTER PREGNANT WITH SLEEP PATTERN DISORDER AT BANGLI HEALTH CENTER ABSTRACT Pregnancy can affect the physical and psychological of pregnant women. These changes will affect the health status of pregnant women. One thing that can occur as a result of these changes is sleep pattern disturbances. Application of Benson relaxation therapy can help overcome sleep pattern disorders in pregnant women. Benson relaxation therapy is a relaxation therapy that is carried out by controlling breathing accompanied by pronounce the name of God when exhaling. The aim of this research is to determine the effectiveness of Benson relaxation therapy for pregnant women in the third trimester at the Bangli Community Health Center. This research is descriptive research with a case study design. Data was collected through interviews and observations organized into nursing care and presented narratively. The results of this study show that the application of Benson relaxation therapy can reduce sleep pattern disturbances in pregnant women in the third trimester. It is hoped that the results of this research can be a reference for relaxation therapy interventions to overcome sleep pattern disorders in third trimester pregnant women. Keywords: Implementation, Benson Relaxation Therapy Method, Sleep Patterns Disorders, Third Trimester Pregnant Women IMPLEMENTASI TERAPI RELAKSASI BENSON PADA IBU HAMIL TRIMESTER III DENGAN GANGGUAN POLA TIDUR DI PUSKESMAS BANGLI ABSTRAK Kehamilan dapat mempengaruhi fisik dan psikologis ibu. Perubahan ini akan mempengaruhi derajat kesehatan ibu hamil. Salah satu yang dapat terjadi akibat perubahan tersebut yaitu gangguan pola tidur. Penerapan terapi relaksasi benson dapat membantu mengatasi gangguan pola tidur pada ibu hamil. Terapi relaksasi benson merupakan terapi relaksasi yang dilakukan dengan cara mengatur pernapasan yang disertai dengan penyebutan nama Tuhan ketika menghembuskan napas. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui keefektifan terapi relaksasi benson pada ibu hamil trimester III di Puskesmas Bangli. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan desain studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dan observasi yang disusun dalam suatu asuhan keperawatan dan disajikan secara naratif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan terapi relaksasi benson mampu menurunkan gangguan pola tidur pada ibu hamil trimester III. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan intervensi terapi relaksasi untuk mengatasi gangguan pola tidur pada ibu hamil trimester III.
