Abstract

Being overweight (obesity)is the impact of excessive energy consumption, where excessive energy is stored in the body as fat, so over time the body becomes heavy. The one that affects the occurrence of obesity in teenagers is the consumption of fast food that is continuous and habitual exercise less. So that factors support the obesity. The purpose of this research is to determine the relationship between habitual of exercise, habits of consuming fast food with occurrences of obesity towards teenagers in Junior High School Bintang Persada in Denpasar. The type of research used observational and designs that used cross-sectional. The sample of this research is 59 people. The data collected in the form of sample characteristics, frequency of obesity, type of sport, sport duration, sport frequency, type of fast food consumption, frequency of fast food consumption, genetic, as well as knowledge and obtained in a manner live interview with the help of a questionnaire. The results of the analysis with the Chi-square test applies to the absence of relationship between obesity with exercise frequency (p > 0.05). There is no relationship between obesity with fast food consumption frequency with the obtained (p > 0.05). The conclusions of this study, the lack of linkages between obesity tendencies by the frequency of obesity as well as the frequency of sports consumption of fast food.
