Abstract
RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN EXCLUSIVE BREASTFEEDING AND MATERNAL MILK COMPANION FOOD WITH NUTRITION STATUS OF CHILDREN AGES 6-36 MONTH IN THE KEROBOKAN KAJA VILLAGE, REGENCY OF BADUNG, BALI PROVINCE ABSTRACT A good nutritional status for building quality resources should start as early as possible. Factors that affect the nutritional status of infectious diseases caused by the lack of immunity, one of the factors that influence the lack of exclusive breastfeeding, in addition to the pattern of the provision of Maternal Milk Companion Food that can complement the content of breast milk. The purpose of this research is to know the relationship between Exclusive Breastmilk and Maternal Milk Companion Food (MP-ASI) with nutritional status of children aged 6-36 months in Kerobokan Kaja Village. Observational research type with cross sectional design and a sample of 63 people. Data were collected by interview and weighing method. Data is presented with frequency table and cross table then analyzed using correlation test person. Results showed that 37 samples (66.1%) were not exclusively breastfed exclusively with good nutritional status and 33 samples (58.9%) of which the pattern of giving of breast milk category was in good nutritional status so there was no meaningful relationship between exclusive breastfeeding and status nutrition (r = 0,077 and p = 0,550) and there was no significant relationship between Maternal Milk Companion Food and nutritional status (r = 0,134 and p = 0,295).
