Abstract
Heart disease is a condition in which the heart cannot function properly, Thus causing the work of the heart as a pump of blood and oxygen in the body is disrupted. The success of heart patient management cannot be separated from the knowledge and dietary compliance of heart patients. One way that can be done to overcome these obstacles is by providing nutritional counseling. This study aims to determine the effect of Providing Nutritional Counseling Using Brochure Media on Diet Adherence in Outpatients at the Heart Policlinic of RSUP Prof. Dr. I.G.N.G. Ngoerah, This research is a pre-experiment with one group design. The approach model used in this study is pre-test and post test with control group design. This design involved two groups of subjects, one given the experimental treatment of the experimental group and the other not given the control group treatment The relationship between nutritional counseling and dietary adherence was analyzed using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test by looking at the p value. Based on the table above, a p value of 0.031 is obtained. Because the p value is 0.05, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between the provision of nutritional counseling and dietary adherence. There is an influence between providing nutritional counseling using brochure media and dietary compliance
