Abstract

Food waste are food left on the plate after eating and seeing food waste can reveal a person’s ability willingness to consume the food that has been provided. LOS (Length of Stay) or patient length of stay is one of several indicators in assessing the quality of hospital services. Nutritional status is a state of health that is influenced by the interaction between food, the human body and also the human environment. This research is an observational study with a cross-sectional design, namely the cause and effect variables that occur in the research object are measured or collected simultaneously or at the same time. Data processing by means of data that has been collected is processed and presented descriptively and analyzed according to the type of data and the desired purpose. Most of the samples had good nutritional status, namely as many as 14 people or around 63.6%. Most of the samples had good food intake, namely as many as 14 people or around 63.6%. Most of the samples had 4-6 days of hospitalization, namely 12 people or around 54.5%. Based on the analysis, the results showed that there was a significant relationship between nutritional status and length of stay with a p value of 0.00. Based on the analysis, it was found that intake did not have a significant relationship between length of stay and p value of 0.843. it was found that food intake did not have a significant relationship with nutritional status with a p value of 0,315.
