Abstract
DESCRIPTION OF BLOOD GLUCOSE LEVELS IN ACTIVE SMOKERS IN BANJAR BATU BINTANG, DAUH PURI KELOD VILLAGE, DENPASAR BARAT DISTRICT ABSTRACT Smoking is a habit that is commonly practiced in everyday life, wherever smoking people are found, men, women, small children, young people, the elderly, rich or poor status without exception. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of blood glucose levels in active smokers at Banjar Batu Bintang, Dauh Puri Kelod Village, West Denpasar District. This research uses descriptive research type. The research sample was taken using the Lemeshow formula. The number of samples in this study were 43 respondents. The results of this study, obtained from 43 active smoker respondents were grouped into 2, namely active smokers based on smoking duration and active smokers based on cigarettes consumed per day. Based on smoking duration, the most respondents were 19 people (44.19%) with smoking duration <5 years, and the least were 11 people (25.58%), namely with smoking duration in the range of 5-10 years. The number of cigarettes consumed per day by most respondents was 23 people (53.49%) in the mild category (1-10 cigarettes), and at least 4 people (9.30%), in the western category (> 20 cigarettes). Temporary blood glucose levels in active smokers with 43 respondents, there were 33 people (76.74%) with normal glucose levels, while as many as 10 people (23.26%) had high glucose levels. Intermittent blood glucose levels based on the duration and number of cigarettes per day in the light category were 23 people (53.49%), 19 people (44.19%) had normal blood glucose levels, and 4 people (9.30%) had high blood glucose levels. The conclusion of this study is that the majority of the 43 respondents, there are 33 people (76.74%) have normal glucose levels, while as many as 10 people (23.26%) have high glucose levels. Suggestion For the public, especially active smokers, it is hoped that they do not inhale cigarettes excessively because it can interfere with health, one of which is to increase blood glucose levels in the body. Keyword : Active Smoker Random Blood Glucose, POCT GAMBARAN KADAR GLUKOSA DARAH SEWAKTU PADA PEROKOK AKTIF DI BANJAR BATU BINTANG DESA DAUH PURI KELOD KECAMATAN DENPASAR BARAT ABSTRAK Merokok merupakan salah satu kebiasaan yang lazim dilakukan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, dimanapun tempat ditemukan orang merokok baik laki-laki, perempuan, anak kecil, anak muda, orang tua, status kaya atau miskin tanpa terkecuali. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah mengetahui Gambaran Kadar Glukosa Darah Sewaktu ada Perokok Aktif di Banjar Batu Bintang Desa Dauh Puri Kelod Kecamatan Denpasar Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Sampel penelitian ini diambil menggunakan rumus lemeshow. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini 43 responden. Hasil dari penelitian ini, didapatkan dari 43 responden perokok aktif dikelompokan menjadi 2, yaitu perokok aktif berdasarkan durasi merokok dan perokok aktif berdasarkan rokok yang dikonsumsi per hari. Berdasarkan durasi merokok, responden yang banyak 19 orang (44,19%) dengan durasi merokok <5 tahun, dan paling sedikit adalah 11 orang (25,58%), yaitu dengan durasi merokok pada rentang 5-10 tahun. Jumlah rokok dikonsumsi perhari oleh responden paling banyak 23 orang (53,49%) dengan kategori ringan (1-10 batang), dan paling sedikit 4 orang (9,30%), dengan kategori barat (>20 batang). Kadar glukosa darah sewaktu pada perokok aktif dengan 43 reponden, terdapat 33 orang (76,74%) dengan kadar glukosa normal, sedangkan sebanyak 10 orang (23,26%) memiliki kadar glukosa tinggi. Kadar glukosa darah sewaktu berdasarkan durasi dan jumlah rokok per hari kategori ringan sebanyak 23 orang (53,49%), memiliki kadar glukosa darah sewaktu normal sebanyak 19 orang (44,19%), dan sebanyak 4 orang (9,30%) memiliki kadar glukosa darah sewaktu tinggi. kesimpulan penelitian ini yaitu mayoritas dari 43 responden, terdapat 33 orang (76,74%) memiliki kadar glukosa normal, sedangkan sebanyak 10 orang (23,26%) memiliki kadar glukosa tinggi. Saran Bagi masyarakat khususnya perokok aktif diharapkan tidak menghirup rokok secara berlebihan karena dapat mengganggu kesehatan salah satunya meningkatkan kadar glukosa darah dalam tubuh.
