Abstract
OVERVIEW OF TOTAL CHOLESTEROL LEVELS IN FRIED RICE TRADERS IN SESETAN VILLAGE DENPASAR CITY ABSTRACT Background : Cholesterol is a fat in the form of a whitish wax that is produced in large quantities by the liver. One of the factors that causes increased cholesterol levels is not a good consumption pattern. High levels of cholesterol in the blood are the main factors triggering heart disease, stroke, peripheral arteries, hypertension, and diabetes mellitus. Excess cholesterol levels in the blood will easily stick to the inner walls of blood vessels. Pupose: To determine Total Cholesterol Levels at Fried Rice Vendors in Sesetan Village, Denpasar City. Methods: This research is a descriptive research carried out in February 2023. The population taken is fried rice traders who sell in the Sesetan Village area. The sample size is 50 people. Respondents were selected using a purposive sampling technique. Examination using the POCT method. Results : obtained in the study of traders who had normal levels were 37 people (74%) and 13 had high-limit cholesterol levels (26%). The characteristics of fried rice traders in Sesetan Village were 43 traders (86%) who were late adults and 7 early adults (14%). Traders with male gender 38 people (76%) and 12 women (24%). 42 people (84%) tasted food 1x and 18 people (36%) 2x and 0 (0%) tasted 3x. Traders with a coffee consumption level of 1-2 cups per day were 41 people (82%) and 9 people (18%) did not consume coffee. There were 24 people (48%) smoking 1-5 cigarettes and not as many as 26 people (52%). Traders with consumption of fatty foods are 1-2 x 48 people (96%) and 2-5x 2 people (4%). Keywords: Total cholesterol, Traders GAMBARAN KADAR KOLESTEROL TOTAL PADA PADAGANG NASI GORENG DI KELURAHAN SESETAN KOTA DENPASAR ABSTRAK Latar Belakang : Kolesterol adalah lemak berbentuk seperti lilin berwarna keputihan yang diproduksi dalam jumlah besar oleh hati. Salah satu faktor yang menyebabkan meningkatnya kadar kolesterol adalah pola konsumsi tidak baik. Tingginya kadar kolesterol dalam darah merupakan faktor utama pemicu penyakit jantung, stroke, arteri perifer, hipertensi, dan diabetes melitus. Kadar kolesterol yang berlebih dalam darah akan mudah melekat pada dinding sebelah dalam pembuluh darah. Tujuan : Untuk mengetahui Kadar Kolesterol Total Pada Pedagang Nasi Goreng Di Kelurahan Sesetan Kota Denpasar. Metode : Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dilaksanakan pada bulan Februari Tahun 2023. Populasi yang diambil yaitu pedagang nasi goreng yang berjualan dikawasan Kelurahan Sesetan. Besar sampel adalah 50 orang. Responden dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Pemeriksaan menggunakan metode POCT. Hasil yang didapatkan dalam penelitian pedagang yang memiliki kadar normal 37 orang (74%) dan 13 memiliki kadar kolesterol batas tinggi (26%). Karakteristik pedagang nasi goreng di Kelurahan Sesetan didapatkan pedagang dengan usia dewasa akhir 43 orang (86%) dan usia dewasa dini 7 orang (14%). Pedagang dengan jenis kelamin laki- laki 38 orang (76%) dan perempuan 12 orang (24%). Mencicipi masakan 1x sebanyak 42 orang (84%) dan 2x sebanyak 18 orang (36%) dan mencicipi 3 x sebanyak 0 (0%). Pedagang dengan tingkat konsumsi kopi 1-2 gelas perhari 41 orang (82%) dan tidak konsumsi kopi 9 orang (18%). Pedagang tingkat merokok 1-5 batang sebanyak 24 orang (48%) dan tidak sebanyak 26 orang (52%). Pedagang dengan konsumsi makanan berlemak sebanyak 1-2 x 48 orang (96%) dan 2-5x 2 orang (4%).
