Abstract

DESCRIPTION OF BLOOD GLUCOSE LEVELS WHEN COFFEE DRINKERS IN SIDAKARYA VILLAGE, DENPASAR SELATAN ABSTRACT Background: For the people of Indonesia, drinking coffee is a tradition that upholds the values of togetherness and strengthens brotherhood in society. Some of the ingredients in coffee are chlorogen, quinic acid and trigonellin which can increase glucose levels. Objective: Knowing the Description of Blood Glucose Levels in Coffee Drinkers. Method: This type of research is a descriptive research carried out in Sidakarya Village, in February-March 2023. The sample size is 44 people using the Lemeshow formula which was taken using a purposive sampling technique. Examination of blood glucose levels while using capillary blood specimens, with the POCT tool. Data analysis used descriptive analysis. Results: Of the 44 respondents, teenagers (9.09%), adults (56.82%), elderly (29.55%), seniors (4.55%). Gender female (31.82%), male (68.18%). Doing light physical activity (34.09%), moderate (56.82%), heavy (9.09%). Consuming coffee per day 1 cup (13.64%), 2 cups (36.36%), 3 cups (22.73%), more than 3 cups (27.27%) A total (72.73%) of respondents had high levels uric acid in the normal category and (27.27%) the high category. Conclusion: The elderly (18.18%) suffer from high glucose levels, female (15.91%), moderate physical activity (13.64%), consume more than 3 cups of coffee per day (27.27%). Keywords :transient blood glucose GAMBARAN KADAR GLUKOSA DARAH SEWAKTU PADA PEMINUM KOPI DI DESA SIDAKARYA KECAMATAN DENPASAR SELATAN ABSTRAK Latar Belakang : Bagi masyarakat Indonesia, minum kopi merupakan salah satu tradisi yang menjunjung tinggi nilai-nilai kebersamaan dan mempererat persaudaraan dalam masyarakat. Beberapa kandungan dalam kopi adalah klorogen, asam quinat dan trigonelin yang dapat meningkatkan kadar glukosa. Tujuan : Mengetahui Gambaran Kadar Glukosa Darah Sewaktu pada Peminum Kopi. Metode : Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian deskriptif dilaksanakandi Desa Sidakarya, pada bulan Februari-Maret 2023. Besar sampel 44 orang dengan rumus Lemeshow yang diambil menggunkan teknik purposive sampling. Pemeriksaan kadar glukosa darah sewaktu menggunakan spesimen darah kapiler, dengan alat POCT. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif.. Hasil : Dari 44 responden didapatkan remaja (9,09%), dewasa (56,82%), lansia (29,55%), manula (4,55%). Jenis kelamin perempuan (31,82%), laki-laki (68,18%). Melakukan aktivitas fisik ringan (34,09%), sedang (56,82%), berat (9,09%). Mengonsumsi kopi perhari 1 cangkir (13,64%), 2 cangkir (36,36%), 3 cangkir (22,73%), lebih dari 3 cangkir (27,27%) Sebanyak (72,73%) responden memiliki kadar asam urat dengan kategori normal dan (27,27%) kategori tinggi. Simpulan : Kadar glukosa sewaktu tinggi lebih banyak diderita oleh lansia (18,18%), jenis kelamin perempuan (15,91%), aktivitas fisik sedang (13,64%), mengonsumsi kopi lebih dari 3 cangkir perhari (27,27%).
