Abstract
DESCRIPTION OF OXYGEN SATURATION IN ASTHMA PATIENTS IN KLUUNGKUNG HOSPITAL YEAR 2023 ABSTRACT Asthma is a disease in the form of chronic inflammation of the airways. Asthma patients are at risk of chronic inflammatory disorders which cause increased airway hyperresponsiveness which causes recurrent episodic symptoms such as wheezing, shortness of breath, chest tightness. The purpose of this study was to describe oxygen saturation in Asthma patients at Klungkung Hospital in 2023. This research used a quantitative descriptive method which was carried out at Klungkung Hospital in March-April 2023 using a purposive sampling technique for 32 respondents. The results showed that the oxygen saturation values in mild to moderate asthma patients at Klungkung Hospital were mostly mild (90 - 94%) as many as 30 people (93.8%) while moderate oxygen saturation values were as many as 2 people (6.3%). It can be concluded that this study shows that oxygen saturation is still low in asthma patients treated at Klungkung Hospital. Keywords: Asthma, Oxygen Saturation GAMBARAN SATURASI OKSIGEN PADA PASIEN ASMA DI RSUD KLUNGKUNG TAHUN 2023 ABSTRAK Asma adalah suatu penyakit berupa peradangan kronis pada jalan napas. Pasien asma memiliki resiko gangguan inflamasi kronis yang menyebabkan peningkatan hiperesponsif jalan nafas yang menimbulkan gejala episodik berulang berupa mengi, sesak nafas, dada terasa berat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran saturasi oksigen pada pasien Asma di RSUD Klungkung Tahun 2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif yang dilakukan di RSUD Klungkung pada Maret-April 2023 melalui teknik purposive sampling sebanyak 32 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai saturasi oksigen pada pasien asma mayoritas ringan (90 - 94%) sebanyak 30 orang (93,7%) sedangkan nilai saturasi oksigen sedang sebanyak 2 orang (6,3%). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penelitian ini menunjukkan masih rendanhnya saturasi oksigen pada pasien asma yang dirawat di RSUD Klungkung. Kata Kunci :Asma, Saturasi Oksigen,
