Abstract
Anemia is a state of insufficient or low situation of Hemoglobin (Hb) concentration, erythrocytes, and hematocrit (Hct) from normal values. This research aims to discover the relationship between knowledge and Fe consumption rate, Folic Acid, Vitamin C, and Protein with incidence of Anemia n pregnant women. The type of this research is observational with a cross-sectional design. The research was conducted in December 2022. The amount of sample is about 53 samples that have been chosen from 113 pregnant women in the Working Area Puskesmas Sawan I Kabupaten Buleleng. Sampling is done with accidental sampling. The data analysis used is Korelasi Spearman test and Kolerasi Pearson test. Based on the observation result of the sample, it was found 28,3% Anemia, 45,2% sufficient knowledge, 69,8% decent level of Fe consumption, and Folic Acid, 67,9% decent level of Vitamin C consumption, and 56,6% decent level of Protein consumption. The result of the statics test shows the relationship between knowledge and Anemia status (p = 0,010 ; r = –0,351), there is a relationship between Fe (p = 0,000 ; rs= 0,637), Folic Acid (p = 0,000 ; rs = 0,006), Vitamin C (p = 0,000 ; rs = 0,639), Protein (p = 0,002 ; r = 0,425) consumption level with Anemia status in the Working Area of Puskesmas Sawan I Buleleng Regency.
