Abstract
THE RELATIONSHIP OF KNOWLEDGE LEVEL TO BEHAVIOR HAND WASHING WITH SOAP FOR PUBLIC ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS 3 KESIMAN ABSTRACT Based on data from puskesmas II Denpasar Timur in 2022, it was found that diseases caused by environmental factors, namely diarrhea, with the number of male patients as many as 78 people and 51 women, so the total number affected by diarrheal diseases was 229 people. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and handwashing behavior with soap in students of State Elementary School 3 Kesiman. This study used a design or sectional cros design. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the knowledge of hand washing with soap in elementary school students of Negeri 3 Kesiman with the majority of knowledge levels is sufficient as many as 34 people (53.1. Based on the results of the study, it showed that the behavior of washing hands with soap in elementary school students of Negeri 3 Kesiman with the majority of behavior was sufficient as many as 35 people (54.7%). The results of data analysis using the chi-square test obtained asymp.sig (2-sided) values of 0.034 < 0.05. Then it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. This means that there is a relationship between knowledge and handwashing behavior with soap. For teachers and staff at SD Negeri 3 Kesiman, it is recommended to provide health information from an early age for their students, one of which is information about washing hands with soap so as not to cause a disease. Keywords : Knowledge, Behavior, CTPS HUBUNGAN TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN DENGAN PERILAKU CUCI TANGAN PAKAI SABUN PADA SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR NEGERI 3 KESIMAN ABSTRAK Berdasarkan data puskesmas II Denpasar Timur Tahun 2022 ditemukan penyakit yang disebabkan oleh faktor lingkungan yaitu diare dengan jumlah penderita laki-laki sebanyak 78 orang dan perempuan 51 orang jadi jumlah total keseluruhan yang terkena penyakit diare yaitu 229 orang. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat pengetahuan dengan perilaku cuci tangan pakai sabun pada siswa Sekolah Dasar Negeri 3 Kesiman. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan atau desain cros sectional. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pengetahuan cuci tangan pakai sabun pada siswa sekolah dasar Negeri 3 Kesiman dengan mayoritas tingkat pengetahuan cukup sebanyak 34 orang (53,1. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa perilaku cuci tangan pakai sabun pada siswa sekolah dasar Negeri 3 Kesiman dengan mayoritas perilaku cukup sebanyak 35 orang (54,7%). Hasil analisis data menggunakan uji chi-square diperoleh nilai asymp.sig (2-sided) 0,034 < 0,05. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Hal ini berarti adanya hubungan pengetahuan dengan perilaku cuci tangan pakai sabun. Bagi guru dan staff di SD Negeri 3 Kesiman disarankan untuk memberikan informasi kesehatan sejak dini bagi siswanya salah satunya seperti informasi mengenai cuci tangan pakai sabun agar tidak menyebabkan terjadinya suatu penyakit.
