Abstract

OVERVIEW OF HEMOGLOBIN LEVELS ON TEENAGE GIRLS AT SMP NEGERI 10 DENPASAR ABSTRACT Anemia is the most common nutritional problem worldwide mainly caused by iron deficiency. This caused by measure of teenage girls experience the menstruation every month. The purpose of this study was to measuring hemoglobin levels in teenage girls at SMP Negeri 10 Denpasar. The type of research used is descriptive research that using Purposive Sampling Technique. the sample used was 33 teenage girls that obtained from interviews adn the result of measuring hemoglobin levels using POCT method. based on research characteristic, in the age group, the numbers of teenage girls aged 12-13 was 16 person (48,5) and aged 14-15 was 17 respondent (51,5). Also in the group consuming blood added tablets who were obedient as many as 9 person (27,2) and in the group who were not obedient aa many as 24 person (72,8). Based on the results of the measurement of hemoglobin levels, the results of the low category were 3 respondents (9.1%) and the normal category was 30 respondents (90.9%). Hemoglobin levels based on the characteristics of the study were found in the age group of 12-13 years as many as 2 young women (6.1%) who had low hemoglobin levels and in the group consuming Fe tablets there were 26 (78.8%) who had normal hemoglobin levels and were not compliant. taking blood-boosting tablets. Keywords: hemoglobin, adolescent girls, anemia GAMBARAN KADAR HEMOGLOBIN PADA REMAJA PUTRI DI SMP NEGERI 10 DENPASAR ABSTRAK Anemia merupakan masalah gizi yang paling umum di seluruh dunia, terutama disebabkan oleh defisiensi besi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui gambaran kadar hemoglobin pada remaja putri di SMP Negeri 10 Denpasar pada remaja putri di SMP Negeri 10 Denpasar. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling. Sampel yang digunakan adalah 33 remaja putri yang diperoleh dari wawancara dan hasil pengukuran kadar hemoglobin metode POCT. Berdasarkan karakteristik penelitian, pada kelompok usia didapatkan remaja usia 12-13 tahun sebanyak 16 orang (48,5) dan usia 14-15 tahun sebanyak 17 responden (51,5%) Serta pada kelompok konsumsi tablet tambah darah yang patuh sebanyak 9 orang (27,2%) dan tidak patuh sebanyak 24 orang (72,8%). Berdasarkan hasil pengukuran kadar hemoglobin didapatkan hasil kategori rendah sebanyak 3 responden (9,1%) dan kategori normal 30 responden (90,9%). Kadar hemoglobin berdasarkan karakteristik penelitian didapatkan pada kelompok usia 12-13 tahun sebanyak 2 remaja putri (6,1%) yang memiliki kadar hemoglobin rendah dan pada kelompok konsumsi tablet Fe terdapat 26 (78,8%) yang memiliki kadar hemoglobin normal dan tidak patuh mengonsumsi tablet tambah darah.
