Abstract

RELATIONSHIP OF MOTHER KNOWLEDGE ABOUT POSYANDU WITH REGULARITY MEASURING WEIGHT ON CHILD AGE 12-36 MONTHS TO POSYANDU ABSTRACT Poyandu is a basic health activity organized from, by and for the community which is conducted regularly every month. The regularity of mother visits to posyandu is influenced by good knowledge. The aim of this research is to know the relation between mother knowledge about posyandu with regularity to measure weight of 12-36 months old child to posyandu. The type of this research is analytic correlation with cross-sectional design. The research was conducted in Demulih Village, Susut, Bangli District. The sample size in this study were 84 mothers who fulfilled inclusion and exclusion criteria. Sampling technique used is probability technique with random sampling method. Respondent data obtained by using data collection tool in the form of questioner. Data analysis technique used in this research is bivariate analysis with chi-square test. The result of this research is the respondents have not good knowledge (51,2%) and the level of regularity of respondents to posyandu in irregular categories (53,6%). The chi-square test shows that p-value is 0,000 smaller than 0.05 (0.000<0.05). Knowledge affects the regularity of mothers measuring weight their children into posyandu. Therefore, it needs to be counseling and health promotion about the benefits of posyandu so that mothers are more regular visit to posyandu. Key words: posyandu, knowledge, regularity HUBUNGAN PENGETAHUAN IBU TENTANG POSYANDU DENGAN KETERATURAN MENIMBANG ANAK UMUR 12-36 BULAN KE POSYANDU ABSTRAK Posyandu adalah kegiatan kesehatan dasar yang diselenggarakan dari, oleh dan untuk masyarakat yang dilaksanakan secara rutin setiap bulan. Keteraturan kunjungan ibu ke posyandu dipengaruhi oleh pengetahuan yang baik. Tujuan umum penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pengetahuan ibu tentang posyandu dengan keteraturan menimbang anak umur 12-36 bulan ke posyandu. Jenis penelitian ini adalah analitik korelasi dengan rancangan cross-sectional. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Demulih, Susut, Kabupaten Bangli. Besar sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 84 orang ibu yang memenuhi kiteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah teknik probability dengan metode random sampling. Data responden diperoleh dengan menggunakan alat pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis bivariat dengan uji chi-square. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu responden memiliki pengetahuan kurang baik (51,2%) dan tingkat keteraturan responden ke posyandu dalam kategori tidak teratur (53,6%). Hasil uji chi-square menunjukkan bahwa p-value sebesar 0,000 lebih kecil dari 0,05 (0,000< 0,05). Pengetahuan mempengaruhi keteraturan ibu menimbang anaknya ke posyandu. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan penyuluhan dan promosi kesehatan tentang manfaat posyandu sehingga ibu lebih teratur berkunjung ke posyandu. Kata kunci: posyandu, pengetahuan, keteraturan
